Blog assignment 1

This text is about people who are doing things that are wrong, and sometimes even illegal, and get caught. In my opinion there is nothing wrong about that. As long as the boss is clear about in witch way he will be supervising his employees I can’t se anything wrong with it. When you are at work you have a job to do, a task that has been given to you and the reason you are getting paid is that you are doing your job. If you don’t do your task you’re not suppose to get paid. At some works it’s easy for the director to se whether the employees have done there job ore not. As an example it becomes pretty obvious that a buss-driver doesn’t do his job if the buss never shows up. But there are some tasks that are harder to check. A person that is suppose to do an investigation on the market by calling randomly picked people and ask them question, isn’t so easy to check up on. The fact that the employed is talking on the phone al day doesn’t have to mean that he is doing his job. In these cases snooping is the directors’ only tool to make sure his workers are doing what they are getting paid to do.

    I can not sat that you are incorrect but i still can not say that i totally disagree with you because you do make a valid point. All tho a buss driver failing his job is an obvious issue I think he/she still can fail at his/hers job and still be there on time. Let me explain, a buss driver is supposed to be polite and be able to speak fluent Swedish and English yet still you meet drivers that can not make them selves understood in Swedish nor English. So to just sum it up and not make a wall-of-text:
    - Snooping is not snooping if you warn your employee then it is just surveillance (which is fully legal and not immoral)

  2. I agree with you. Your boss have the right to check if you are doing the job he/she is paying you to do. If you do not work and just goof around during work hours the company will just lose money. Keeping tabs on your employees is juts a way to make sure the money is well spent.

    I agree with you, I also think that we need to use this kind of technology. But I think it is very sad that we have to. Where is the work moral? Most of the people are probably doing there work impeccably every day, every week. But then we have a small group that are lying, cheating and using the the system all day long and it is because of these group of people that the trust for the human being is gone. I think however that you have to inform all the concerned when you are using this kind of technology.
